Malegaon,: On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of Indian Independence, the flag was hoisted by Additional District Collector Dhananjay Nikam in the premises of the new tehsil office at Malegaon. On this occasion, Home Guard and State Reserve Police Force saluted the national flag.
Malegaon Municipal Corporation Mayor Tahera Rashid Sheikh, MLA Mufti Mohammad Ismail, Additional Superintendent of Police Sandeep Ghuge, Sub-Divisional Officer Vijayanand Sharma, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Mangesh Chavan, Tehsildar Chandrajit Rajput, Deputy Engineer Rahul Patil, Medical Officer Dr. Sapna Thackeray, Dr. Shailesh Nikam, Dr. Hitesh Mahale, Dr. Abdul Faizi, Dr. Mahendra Patil, freedom fighters, Veer Mata, Veer Pita, Veer Patni, distinguished citizens of the city, dignitaries from various fields, senior officers of all government departments, employees were present.
Additional Collector Dhananjay Nikam wished the audience a happy Independence Day. As per the government directive, the flag hoisting program was celebrated in a limited manner and following the instructions and rules of the health department.
